Game Reports and Ratings
Which Games Count Toward Club Ratings?
MVCC maintains club ratings for all members. Ratings make chess more entertaining, help players track improvement, and give the club a consistent way to organize fair games, challenges, and events.
Ratings are based on 1) starting rating as self-reported, and 2) adjustments based on games with other members.

How to Report a Game Result
Reporting is simple and takes less than a minute. Please click the button below and enter the player names and result. Be sure to check the box if this game was part of a Ladder Challenge.
IMPORTANT: To limit duplicate entries, the WINNER of the game is responsible for entering results. In the case of draws, either player may enter the results (just one entry, please).
That’s all we need. The club will update ratings and (if applicable) ladder positions.
